Hello Lovelies,

Wow how are we nearly half way through April already?! I have been a busy little bee.

I have two new exciting things keeping me busy... the first is Northern Soul. My friend has got me hooked on the scene and I can't get enough.

The second is the WI.

I have started up a new WI group in my area after not finding a group that suited me. We are called the Tea Birds. I am going to do a post all about them later. I am loving being part of the WI. After two meetings and annual federation meeting I have met an enormous amount of amazing ladies - I am so inspired.

Feeling a little pleased with myself... I made not one but two christening gowns.. :)

My friend has twins and so the family christening gown was not going to be very useful in this instance... but she still wanted something special for them rather than 'off the shelf'. Well I had a last minute (4 weeks) sos - could I help her and make something... so I did.

It's the first time I have made anything for little people.

One with Gingham ribbon and one with polka dot ribbon... both made with love!  

It was a fabulous day!

My gorgeous new vintage, Italian leather, rabbit fur boots. Finally some attractive and sensible footwear! 

So that's some stuff from January....

I would like to just add I really am not much of a fan of black tights and think they do kinda spoil the look of outfits ... but it has been freezing... I can't live without my 120 deniers!!
