Rock a bye Roddy...

I have had a fab bank holiday weekend spending time with my Mum and Nan and we have done a whole lot of bargain hunting from charity shops, car boot sales and antique stores.

We have started getting things for my vintage/rockabilly style wedding next year... exciting stuff... but also managed to pick up a few bargains to enjoy now!

 Rocking chair £3
Roddy loves it... it took him a minute to get used to the rocking motion when he jumped up!
Kidney shape side table.... this was on our friends parents stall and they gave it to me for free... but I felt bad and so gave them a £1 - how generous of me, lol!

My nan bought me the peacock vase.

Hope you have all had a lovely bank holiday if you're here in the UK and if not hope you had fab weekends all round!

Bargainous furniture - you are indeed last of the great spenders! I do like a 50s style side table and that rocker is excellent. Nice granny blanket in the background too

I love the kidney shaped 1950's side table and your Roddy looks so cute curled up on his new chair.

Great items! Looking forward to the swap, Jojo. Hope it's OK to sort it in the next couple of weeks. Will keep in touch before then. Quite busy with traveling at the mo.
Have a great week.

Hey you. Thanks so much for your reply. My email is joyretrovintage@gmail.com. I can give you my UK address there and then. I will be in London tonight and will bring the stuff for the swap. I can either send them or maybe we can meet up at my vintage fair on June 19th? No worries if you're busy. If not, I'm back in London possibly end of July to maybe attend the Southbank Vintage Event. Easy doors. Have a great week. (sorry to flood your comment system). Can't wait for the swap too :)
